is another High Definition film in the series I have been
making to promote Ross-on-Wye and the Wye Valley on Wyenot.
Some of the footage is older but mostly it was filmed yesterday,
having taken a walk by the caves (my peaceful place) for
a little sanctuary from local news.
film shows King Arthur's cave and the area in which it is
located, on the edge of the River Wye not far from Symonds
Yat. On the whole, I am pleased with the result of the filming
and editing but not the narration as I do not like to hear
my own voice. In the future, I hope to find somebody with
a better voice than me to do the voice-overs on these films.
voice also appears, disguised in the music - Palaeolithic
Storm. For the 'caveman' voices, it was reversed and the
pitch shifted. Palaeolithic Storm is my own composition
and was recorded in 1999. However, I remixed the original
track this week for the film, so hopefully, it is an improved
version. The first 30 seconds of flute music over the narration
is not me. This was a licensed track, which I purchased
for film making.
hope you like the end result. I have deleted the original
film I made about King Arthur's Cave. It had been viewed
thousands of times in the two years it was available but
I was not happy with it, and the quality was low as it was
made for the much slower internet connections of the time.
