The Parade assembles soon after midday at Castle Green ,ready for an inspection at 1pm by the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Herefordshire Council Chairman, Councillor John Stone and the Mayor of Hereford, Councillor Sylvia Daniels.

At 1.30pm the Parade will march from Castle Green, down Castle Hill along Quay Street, past Hereford Cathedral and turn right into Broad Street. The troops will then turn right into High Town and head for St Peter's Square where the Vice Lord-Lieutenant, accompanied by Herefordshire Council Chairman, the Mayor of Hereford and other local dignitaries will take the salute on the steps of the Town Hall at about 1.45pm. The parade with then make its way along St Owen Street, Cantilupe Street, Mill Street and Nelson Street back to the Territorial Army headquarters in Harold Street.

'I'm sure there are many people in the county who would like to show their support to the soldiers who have represented this country in many inhospitable parts of the world,' said Councillor John Stone. 'It's a great honour to welcome them to Hereford and I would encourage everyone who can to turn out for what will be a great event.'
