you live locally and I have photographed you within the
past six years, chances are you will appear in this six
minute sequence somewhere for 0.036 of a second. This short
film is made up of 10,000 photographs of local people and
things I have taken for Wyenot over the past six years.
This is about one tenth of the photos I have actually taken
and, as there are so many of them, they are not hand picked
- they are grabbed at random from the 'image' directory
of the photos are mine, however about 0.0001% of photos
taken by others slipped in by accident, including a couple
of ancient photos of me as a baby and when I had hair. These
found their way in during the testing stage and I forgot
to delete them.
ran this video on YouTube, on Sunday and have been asked,
'What is the music?' It is nothing specific. I have to have
rights to music used in my films and this track generated
it to fit, here on my computer, using 'Sony Cinescore' and
drum and guitar loops, recorded for this purpose by drummer
and guitarist, 'Beer Goggles'. The film was edited together
using 'Sony Vegas Platinum Edition'.
film is kind of subliminal in that the more times you watch,
the more people you will find popping into your head. Some
'www.wyenot.com' copyright notices flash up from time to
time but this is not deliberate subliminal advertising.
It happens because I used the pre-prepared images from the
'Wyenot' server. I 'zoomed in' to try to avoid these notices
appearing but in some instances, it was unavoidable.
