I may quite possibly have mentioned before, Broome Farm,
as well as being the home of the Ross Cider, is my favourite
local place to visit. Friday's trip to the farm, to attend
a great evening of musical entertainment proved to be no
exception to this rule. The evening began with 'Flick of
the Wrist', a four piece band, fronted by Jessie Morgan
who performed some briliant 'unplugged' versions of Police
and Queen songs.
main theme for the evening however was blues and blues legend
Tom Doughty kept the blues fans spellbound with his great
voice and slide guitars - performing two great sets before
the evening finished with more from Flick of the Wrist.
filmed some songs from both Flick of the Wrist and Tom Doughty.
However, it has been a really busy weekend film wise and
I have not had the chance to process all. As I have shown
'Flick of the Wrist' here before, the video below is of
Tom Doughty performing 'Louisiana'. This is well worth watching.
