Players
from Hereford United came to Ross on Sunday to attend a
Family Fun Day to raise money for the Junior Bulls. There
were lots of stalls on the Caroline Symonds Gardens and
lots of competitions for people to enter. Apart from raising
funds for the Junior Bulls, this event was designed to encourage
kids to take part in organized activities, rather than just
hang around the streets.
Lots
of people turned up to take part in the event and meet some
of Hereford United players and management team. Ross's own
Carnival Chairman, Mel Hodges is part of the committee which
organized the fun day which has gone some way to providing
funds to take the kids on outings. In the photograph below
you can see Mel with some of the county's children and pro
football players Jamie Pitman and Adam Bartlett along with
Craig Jones and Sam Gwynne, two local young men who have
been offered professional contracts.
