Smoking
in Public Places
Everybody
knows about the smoking ban - no smoking in public places.
Whilst walking through the Maltings yesterday I saw three
young men light up outside Argos, and walk down towards
David Christopher. There are three clear signs explaining
this rule but it seems nobody takes any notice of them.
After
this I walked up to the Crofts, and there in front of me
were about eight to ten youths sheltering from the rain
in the crofts toilet porch way. At least half of them were
smoking.
The
Community Support Officers operate in Ross to stop anti
social behaviour - to prevent things like this happening,
It
disgusts me that the Councils say, "We are injecting money
into the police force to stop ASB". In my opinion I feel
they have enough money, they have enough equipment, and
enough officers. They only need encourage them to get out
in town all day, every day…
