Cider & Perry's annual Cider Festival at Broome Farm,
Peterstow is always a fantastic event and the 2009 event,
which began on Friday, just had to be the best ever. A wonderful
weekend of cider tasting, live music and dancing was enjoyed
by all who attended, from the fun filled Ceilidh Night on
Friday to the Farmers and Crafts market on Sunday.
The
Ceilidh was led by 'Porridge' who had the dance floor packed
with people, young and old, enjoying this increasingly popular
form of dance. At the end of the evening, the caller had
everybody in a line, instructing them to leave the barn
by the back door and dance round until they re-entered through
the front entrance. The dancing looked pretty exhausting,
but a lot of fun and people left the barn tired, but happy
and looking forward to what was in store for them on Saturday.
You can see some of the fun that went on by watching the
video below.
