(Re-Stirred)' is one of those wine bars that sprang up in
every town in the eighties and has gone through so many
changes since to maintain its position as 'the place to
be seen'. Its
patrons are local young businessmen, pretentious Yuppies,
celebrating checkout girls and the local lads looking for
in this environment that we find Carol, Mel, Adele and Nicky;
four waitresses who, for six nights a week, run the gauntlet
of insult, abuse and innuendo to earn a living. They all
wait for that day when they can say goodbye to this false
and tacky world and find their dream job where they can
use their skills and command some respect. Meanwhile they
must make the best of things and stick together.
talented cast of four, play all of the many roles in this
fast moving, often hilarious and sometimes poignant comedy.
Anyone who ever went into a wine bar, drank a cocktail or
waited on table should not miss it!
