There
was something very different about the people of Ross when
Tina and I went out to see what was going on in town on
Saturday night. Rather than dress up for the usual Saturday
evening entertainment and dancing, we found that virtually
everybody had left home without make-up and wearing their
every day, relax at home clothes. I spoke to Del at the
Plough Inn, asking him why he usually wears make-up behind
the bar and he replied, 'Because I'm worth it'.
Only
kidding. It was obviously Halloween on Saturday and Tina
and I took a trip out to see what was going on. As can be
seen from the photos below, Ross was like a ghost town.
A lot of people made the effort to wear fancy dress and
enjoy themselves in the various hostelries.
