Downhill Mountain Biking Champion, Tracy Moseley delighted the pupils of John Kyrle High School when she agreed to open their new 'Wye Cycle' bike shed last Friday. Gold Cup winner, Tracy answered lots of interesting questions put to her by the pupils before everybody went outside for the grand opening, It was good to see as we arrived at the school that the bike shed, which can house up to 100 bikes was already being put to good use.

After the opening, guests were invited for tea and cake along with members of the schools cycling club, which is held every Wednesday afternoon. All cycling pupils are welcome to attend.

We enjoyed a brief interview with Tracy along with Head Teacher, Nigel Griffiths, Joyce Thomas, MBE DL, Herefordshire Council's School Travel Advisor, Linda Sinker and Cycle Trainer, Roger Calow, who are all really pleased to see more and more children cycling to school.
