Local people will have noticed the amount of rain Ross-on-Wye has been experiencing during November and more distant readers will be able to see by looking at the rainfall charts on our weekly weather reports.

Although water levels on the River Wye are quite high at the moment, following the time lapse sequence I made last week, there is little point in my photographing the flood water in more detail yet as it will almost certainly get deeper over the coming days. The photos below however, taken from the Prospect, should give an indication of how much the river has risen since Friday.
