man, Mr. Paul Deneen has been awarded an OBE in the New
Year's Honours for services to the community in Herefordshire
Deneen is Non Executive Director of NHS Herefordshire and
a member of West Mercia Police Authority. He chaired the
Authority from 2005-2009.
is a member of the Board of The Association of Police Authorities
at national level and he is a Governor of The National College
of Policing and Leadership based at Bramshill.
is chair of Powys and Herefordshire Magistrates' Association
and is a designated court chair for both the adult and youth
courts on the Herefordshire Bench.
serves on the Employment Tribunal regionally and is a partner
of the Postgraduate and Medical Educational Training Board.
is one of the Deputy Lieutenants of Herefordshire, President
of the Alumni Association of the University of Worcester
and he teaches part-time at the John Kyrle High School and
Sixth Form Centre in Ross-on-Wye.
has recently been reappointed as Non Executive Director
of NHS Herefordshire for a further four-year term, until
30th September 2013.

a considerable amount to allow me to obtain my degree and
enter the teaching profession in the late 1970s.
