CHILD RESCUED FROM FROZEN BELMONT LAKE...............

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have just carried out a rescue of a child from Belmont Pool, who went through the ice and managed to climb onto the central island from where they were able to rescue him.

Local police CSO’s had been here repeatedly trying to clear young people off the ice. This was a narrowly avoided tragedy.
