Peterstow
Common was packed with people on Saturday afternoon, all
taking part in the great Peterstow Village Fete. There were
lots of stalls and side-shows such as skittles, a coconut
shy, Tombola, the Broome
Farm cider tent, delicious refreshments and some great
live music was performed by popular local band, Double Barrel.
One
of the attractions there was a small steam engine, owned
by 14 year old James Lilwall, who happily gave 'children'
of all ages free rides up and down the common road. Peterstow
Village Fete is a brilliant event and the community work
hard to put on a great afternoon out for the whole family.
The
video below shows some scenes from the afternoon event.
My apologies to the Double Barrel Band for not using the
soundtrack I recorded when filming you at the event. I have
had to use a music track for which I own a broadcast license,
for reasons of copyright. Next time, maybe I can record
you performing one of your own compositions.
