Firstly.
This is not a joke or a home-made ghost video. I absolutely
swear that what I explain and show here is absolutely genuine!
I
am totally sceptical about ghosts being the souls of dead
people and I am not interested in making up ghostly tales.
I
was not aware of this happening at the time and Tina (with
me in the office in the film below) was the one to hear
it first whilst I was editing my latest River Wye film for
Wyenot, which I shot yesterday and am currently working
on. Initially, I
disagreed with her - as explained in the film but following
some techy investigation of the audio, I am now utterly
convinced that what you see and hear is something that I
personally cannot explain.
Maybe
you can. If so, please email us.
I would genuinely like to get to the bottom of this, even
if it turns out to be something perfectly ordinary that
I have overlooked. Have you ever experienced anything similar
or unexplainable whilst canoeing the Wye by Goodrich? Please
let us know.
The
clip in the film below was shot on the River Wye, precisely
(from the time marker on the original, which is shot in
1080 HDMI as a Sony 'MTS' file) at 3.11pm on Friday, 27th
August 2010, at the point when travelling from Ross towards
Goodrich Castle where the castle becomes hidden by trees.
My boat was slightly left of the middle of the river and
there was nobody on either bank.
