This
is my latest video tourism film for Wyenot, ready for a
page I am soon going to introduce about canoeing the River
Wye. It is a replacement for the video I made earlier this
month, although I shall not take that one down. At the time
of making the first attempt there was not enough water in
the river and filming with Tina in the boat was difficult
due to lack of room in the small craft.
I
hope you enjoy the new version, which I shot last Friday
following two days of persistent rain. The day I filmed
was not without its damp moments, as can be seen at the
end but I have decided to leave those damp moments in as
this is how canoeing or boating in this part of the world
can turn out to be in reality - it's not all sunshine and
flowers!
I
hope you enjoy watching! This is, of course what I was filming
when I caught spooky sounds on the camera (see article on
the previous
page). Out of six hours of river footage, that is the
only place the spooky voice phenomenon occurred.
I
also made a mistake in the narration, saying
'herons' on the pylon at Pencraig. Blame my eye sight. They
are cormorants, which are not solitary birds but you do
also see lots of herons en-route. I'm not going change the
narration though as there is far too much work involved,
so I thought I would mention it here instead.
