SCENES FROM 'MOODS OF THE RIVER WYE'.......

This week's 'Moods of the River Wye' was filmed on Saturday afternoon when the weather was fine and on Sunday, a day which both began and ended with foggy conditions. Water levels have remained consistently medium to high over the week but no flooding has occurred and they are now gradually beginning to fall. Autumn colours are still apparent but the leaves are rapidly falling now as we head into winter.

Following a letter received this week requesting more astronomy, I have included a very short night sky scene, filmed at midnight on Sunday. These scenes take a long while to shoot due to the length of exposure necessary and I was only able to manage a 44 frame sequence shot over a period of 30 minutes as the fog became too dense. As my health improves and it becomes possible, I will try to include more night time star / river sequences in future videos.

The mist is getting thicker.

The swans have come know me after weeks of regular filming.
