When Andy and Maria Gooding took over the Eagle Inn in April this year, they had an awful lot of work to do to redeem the once run down and troubeld pub. However, they and their team of friendly staff set to work, turning this lovely pub back into into a real local and those who visit today are very impressed with the hard work that has been put in.

Since taking on the The Eagle, Andy and Maria have made many improvements, including re paving the courtyard and restoring the Stable Suite into the best, fully self contained venue for any function. There have already been many very successful parties there and since being fitted with its own kitchen equipment, a sit down meal for large numbers of people is easily catered for. Why not book it for your Christmas party? There is a lovely Christmas menu available.

From Sunday, 27th November, Sunday lunches will be served at The Eagle. With a choice of a beef, turkey or pork dinner at £6.95, with the option of enjoying a delicious sweet afterwards for just £1, not only will you get to enjoy a fantastic meal, you also get excellent value for money. If you don't enjoy a Sunday roast, don't worry, The Eagle Inn's usual great menu will also be available. Why not treat yourself and the family this weekend?
