BROOME FARM TO FEATURE ON HAIRY BIKERS SHOW |
|
Regular
readers of Wyenot News may recall that immediately prior
to the popular Broome Farm Cider Festival, the Hairy Bikers
paid a visit to the lovely Peterstow farm to record part
of their TV series, 'Best of British.' The visit actually
took place during the Friday afternoon, with the festival
beginning on the evening of the same day, 2nd September.
The
Bikers are a friendly pair and were very happy to pose for
a few photographs before getting down to the business of
the day. Apparently they were very impressed with what they
saw and ate, which comes as no surprise at all, really.
If you have never tried the food at Broome Farm, either
in the Cider Press Restaurant at the Broome
Farm B&B or the delicious food which is always available
at events held by Ross
Cider & Perry Co., you don't know what you are missing
and I can highly recommend it.
The
programme featuring Broome Farm is scheduled to be shown
on BBC2 at 3:45pm on Tuesday, 6th December.

The Hairy Bikers at Broome Farm were happy to sign a book for Caz
Holbrook, who kindly gave me a lift out to Peterstow. |
