The bar at The Old Court Hotel has many interesting features. The bar itself has a carved frontage which dates back to 1681 and an old clock that goes backwards. In the winter months you will be greeted by a welcoming, roaring log fire, creating a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy one of the real ales, lagers or ciders available. There is quite a diverse range of spirits on offer and there is a wide screen television for those who enjoy modern day living in Olde Worlde comfort.

The Elizabethan Suite is beamed throughout reflecting its days as a medieval court. It is the perfect place for a candlelit dinner and has the capacity for seating up to 100 guests for a reception. As the Old Court Hotel has a civil license, it is possible to hold an entire wedding there, up to and including accommodating your guests. If you would like to hold your wedding at the Old Court Hotel, please contact the friendly staff who will be only too happy to discuss your requirements with you. The restaurant is adjoined by an ante room, to either extend the restaurant, or to be used for smaller functions or conferences.

There are separate menus for the bar and dining room, both of which offer a wonderful range of fine cuisine, using only the best of locally produced ingredients. The meat is butchered on the premises, so freshness and quality are guaranteed and each month a special food theme is operated for one week, so you may like to go along during Pork Week or maybe Game Week or Pasta Week. You may like to go along and try them all.

The Conservatory at The Old Court Hotel overlooks the beautifully kept gardens and is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunshine whilst dining. There is a special resident's lounge for the exclusive use of guests and there is a small snug for customers who wish to enjoy a quiet drink with friends.

There are eighteen guest rooms at The Old Court Hotel, comprising four twin and fourteen double rooms. All of the rooms are beautifully furnished, have en suite facilities and are equipped with a colour television, a radio alarm, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. Several of the rooms are furnished with four poster beds. Children are welcome to stay at the hotel and cots and highchairs are available if required. Well behaved dogs are also welcome to stay here by prior arrangement.

In the well kept, extensive grounds of The Old Court Hotel is a large outdoor dining patio, a lovely ornamental pond and a children's play area.

Since taking over the Old Court in 2006, Jono and Victoria have transformed the building from a rather dingy, neglected looking hotel into a bright, vibrant place in which to enjoy fantastic food and drink. The couple quickly became valued members of the community and hold various events throughout the year to raise funds for the local school as well as the church of St. Dubricius. Jono is also a local fire fighter.
