Richard and Kelly Bailey would like to welcome you Orles Barn,
their lovely hotel and restaurant which is situated just off the
A40 at Wilton, Ross-on-Wye. Due to its location, Orles Barn is
ideal for visitors who wish to explore the local area or who intend
to visit nearby Monmouth, Hereford or Gloucester.
Orles
Barn has an interesting history and has had many commercial uses
in the past, including clog making during the 18th century. Parts
of the building date back to the 14th and 17th centuries and in
the front garden, there is evidence of a building which dates
back to 1180.

The accommodation at Orles Barn comprises eight guest rooms, all
of which are en suite and are equipped with a television, a hospitality
tray and a hair dryer. There is also a trouser press available
for guests to use. Many of the rooms still feature the original
oak beams, reflecting the history of this lovely building.
After
a very comfortable night's sleep, you can look forward to a delicious
cooked breakfast, which is prepared using locally sourced produce.
Breakfast is served between 8am and 9:30am on weekdays and between
8:30 and 9:30am at weekends. However, if these times do not suit
your requirements, Kelly and Richard are prepared to be reasonably
flexible.

The
menu at Orles Barn is fairly diverse, offering something to suit
most tastes and locally produced ingredients are used wherever
possible. The mid week menu includes delicious beef and ale pie,
spicy chicken curry or haddock and spring onion fishcakes, amongst
other tasty options and the traditional Sunday lunch menu is proving
to be very popular amongst locals and visitors alike. If you have
any special dietary requirements, please advise at the time of
booking so that you can be appropriately catered for.
The
menu varies from time to time, according to season and occasional
themed evenings such as Italian nights or pudding nights are held,
along with special wine tasting evenings. Due to the popularity
of these evenings, it is advisable to book early.
