Due
to the temperate climate of this part of Herefordshire, Pencraig
Court is a real hotel for all seasons, with a lawn which is perfect
for croquet and gardens that provide cool shade in which to enjoy
the colourful grounds during the summer. During the cooler months,
Pencraig Court offers a natural warmth, assisted by central heating
and a welcoming log fire in the drawing room, which is so good
to come back to after a lovely winter walk.
Beautiful
walks in the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean are easily accessible
from Pencraig Court, which are hugely popular with visitors to
the area. So much so that your well behaved dog is welcome to
accompany you during your visit by arrangement. If you enjoy being
active, there is a wide range of activities available at nearby
Symonds Yat, including canoeing, cycling, abseiling and many others
and the friendly staff at Pencraig Court will be only to pleased
to point you in the right direction.

Dining
at Pencraig Court Hotel is simply delicious as Liz is an excellent
cook, who serves traditional English food in her own innovative
style. All meals are freshly cooked and Liz often uses local produce
such as Herefordshire beef and lamb, incorporating vegetables
and fruit from the hotel's kitchen garden and orchard.
The
dining room at Pencraig Court is a most elegant pace in which
to enjoy the culinary delights available and the magnificent circular
oak table extends to seat parties of up to sixteen persons. Special
dietary requirements can be met, but please advise of these at
the time of booking.
The
wine cellar at Pencraig Court compares with the finest in the
county and houses excellent vintage French wines available, complemented
by others from Germany, Italy, Spain and the New World.

Each
of the eleven bedrooms at Pencraig Court Hotel are en suite, individually
decorated and full of those little touches that will make you
feel both welcome and at home. All rooms are equipped with a television
and tea and coffee making facilities and guests are welcome to
use the WiFi service which is available throughout the hotel.
As
well as a range of double and twin rooms, there is also one single
room and one spacious family room available.
For
a romantic night to remember, one of the rooms has been designed
and furnished to show off a splendid antique four poster bed.
