Personal Information - My Genealogy

This web site is not really about genealogy but I have added these pages to my personal section of this site as I am constantly receiving emails through wyenot.com about the subject and this has made me realize just how many people are out there trying to trace their family history. The information below is simply a list of my known direct ancestors and descendants. If there is a blank space, this is either because the person is still alive or because I don't have the information to fill it.

I have to be a little bit honest here and say that, genealogy interests me but the main Ross-on-Wye part of this web site takes up so much time that I really do not have the time to spend hours researching my own, let alone other people's families. I have put this page here to try and assist without getting too much further involved. I do have further information on my family stored in a database, I also have photographs of some (but not all) of the people listed below, so I may be able to help if you really, really, really need to find out about somebody. Good luck with your research and, if you are over 200 years old, extremely wealthy and trying to trace your long lost nephew I can be contacted from the bottom of this page.

I am adding the photographs that I have, in surname groups as time allows. I have also built up the whole of my known family tree in a database over the years but cannot currently release the gedcom file as it also contains personal information about some of the living. If I ever find the time, I will remove the personal addresses etc. and save a new copy excluding this information to put here for download. If you find that you are related and want further info, you are welcome to email me and I will fill you in on any info I have but please, don't send me one of those long emails which reads, 'My great uncles second cousin six times removed who was born in a remote village, somewhere close to Cambodia, emigrating to America at the age of six with his father and third cousin's niece and owned a dog called Enthwhistle had an aunt, who died at the age of nine hundred and eleventy eight in 1746 of rubymolitis and was buried in an unmarked grave somewhere close to Ross-on-Wye. Do you have a photograph of the dog?'. I know this sounds a little over the top but, believe me - I do get them!
