This page is a continuation of the Potters Bar page on this web site. I am afraid that I cannot remember the precise year of this Hope and Anchor Summer Barbecue at Backney but it took place somewhere around 1979 or 1980 and was one of those halcyon days I remember fondly. The rather badly processed photographs are from my family album and I hope they bring back happy memories to others who were present on the day. |
