The Prince of Wales pub and restaurant is an impressive building situated on Walford Road, just a two minute walk from Ross-on-Wye town centre. This multi faceted establishment has a lot to offer by way of food, drink and entertainment and proprietors, Jay and Amanda Hill are more than happy to discuss any requirements you may have if you are looking for the ideal place to hold a party.

At the Prince of Wales there is a wide range of ales and ciders available to sit and enjoy in the Olde Worlde, oak beamed bar. This has many charming features and incorporates a games area which houses a pool table and a dart board. The pub hosts teams for both of these popular pub sports as well as a crib team and a ladies skittles side.

The Prince of Wales has a large parking area to the rear of the building, leading to the Beer Garden, the main entrance to the premises and the spacious function room, and has more than ample parking for coach parties.

The restaurant at the Prince of Wales is non smoking throughout and the menu is tailored to suit all tastes. Try a quick snack such as a freshly cooked jacket potato or a toasted sandwich with a wide range of fillings? Or, if you prefer something more substantial, why not choose a sumptuous full meal from the grill menu. All food is home cooked using locally sourced produce wherever possible. There are vegetarian options on the menu and a childrens' menu is also available.

If you like to take the family out for Sunday lunch, the Prince of Wales offers an excellent menu with great value for money with a one course meal costing £5.95, two courses at £6.95 and a full three course meal priced at £7.95.

The Function Room.

The function room at the Prince of Wales is a great venue for a wedding or any party and can seat up to 180 people. The premises holds a full music licence and your band or disco entertainment can be arranged for you if required. In fact, Amanda can arrange your whole wedding package for you. Contact the Prince of Wales for details. Many parties and fundraisers have been held in this room and a lot of fun has been had by all.

The staff at the Prince of Wales will be happy to meet all of your catering requirements, although you are welcome to make your own arrangements for food if you wish. Parties are licensed until 1 am.

The Prince of Wales is open from 12:00 noon until 23:30 from Sunday to Thursday and 12:00 noon until Midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Coach parties are welcome by arrangement.
