Ross - 1984 Ladies Raft Race

| These photographs were taken during the 1984 Hereford to Ross, 40 mile Ladies Raft Race, at which I was a member of the 'back-up' team for Woodville Warriors. They may be of nostalgic interest to those who took part. Other than the time spent during the race itself, pulling the Woodville raft in and out of the river, my most vivid memory is of the many varied ways there are to climb a camp site marquee supporting pole whilst under the outfluence of incohol. I think upside down and naked was the winner. | |
