Dave and Tracie Rapson would love to welcome you to the Red Lion
Inn which is situated in the village of Peterstow just three miles
from the market town of Ross-on-Wye. This traditional pub comprises
a comfortably furnished bar, restaurant area and a conservatory
restaurant. The conservatory can comfortably seat up to thirty
persons and is available for private use by arrangement. This
is ideal place if you wish to hold a party, meeting or other function.
The
Red Lion is set in extensive grounds which are equipped with plenty
of seating, heating and a childrens' play area. There is lots
of space to pitch a tent and there are hook ups to accommodate
up to five caravans. There is a large car park to the rear of
the building, so parking is not a problem.

The well stocked bar at the Red Lion offers a good range of lagers,
ciders and real ale. Otter Bitter, Dorothy Goodbody's and Timothy
Taylor are the regular ales and the bar frequently hosts a guest
ale. During the chillier months a roaring log fire is lit, making
the bar a really cosy place to sit and relax and enjoy a beer
or two.

The well stocked bar has a great selection of beverages.
The
Red Lion has an excellent reputation for serving delicious food,
as Dave has worked in the catering industry for many years. There
is an extensive range of freshly prepared meals to choose from
and most of the ingredients used are produced locally.
There
are many mouth-watering options on the Red Lion menu, incorporating
Herefordshire beef, a good range of fish or chicken dishes, sizzlers,
char grills and many other fine dishes, all of which are freshly
cooked to order. There is a selection of vegetarian dishes and
a range of tasty meals for the children. If you don't have too
big an appetite, many of the meals can be served in smaller, light
bite portions. These are clearly marked on the menu. There is
also a terrific range of baguettes, jacket potatoes and ploughman's
lunches on the bar menu.
