Helen
and Malcolm would like to welcome you to The Riverside Inn, a
newly refurbished inn set in beautiful surroundings on the banks
of the River Wye. The Riverside is an ideal place to stop, rest
and enjoy a meal, afternoon tea or a refreshing drink.
As
well as being next to the delightful River Wye, The Riverside
is a five minute walk from the historic market town centre of
Ross-on-Wye and is also close places of scenic and historic interest
in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire, making it
a good place to use as a base. The Riverside is just yards away
from a canoe launch making it a convenient stop over for those
travelling via the river and is ideally situated for those who
enjoy rambling or cycling.

In
the spacious bar there is a range of beers and lagers available
including real ales by Banks's and Herefordshire's own Wye Valley
Brewery. There is also a wide screen television installed and
a dart board. Neil would love to hear from anybody that would
like to play darts for the inn.
The
grounds of The Riverside Inn are largely made up of decking, making
accessibility for the disabled a little easier and there is plenty
of seating for customers to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.
Some of the tables have blackboards and chalk attached, to keep
the children occupied. To the rear is an outside bar and ice cream
parlour with a good range of delicious pastries and Sidoli ice
cream available.

There
is such a diverse range of good foods available at The Riverside
that it would be impossible to list them all here, however, a
few tempting examples can be seen below.
How about a chicken liver pâté served with red onion
marmalade and toast to start? Or creamy garlic mushrooms served
on warm bread? Included on the bar menu, you will find a range
of fillings for a jacket potato or sandwich, or you may like to
opt for a tasty lasagne, chilli con carne or one of the other
delicious meals available. There is a choice of vegetarian dishes
and salads on the menu and all childrens' meals include an ice
cream.
All
items on The Riverside grill menu come with a choice of sauces
and are served with mushrooms, peas, tomato, onion rings and chef's
own in house chips. An a la carte menu is also available at certain

'Moselland' Riesling Kabinett, a Chilean Merlot Rosé or
a fruity Rioja. Wines originate from Germany, Argentina, Chile,
