The River Wye Canoe Hire Company offer regular trips which range from a half day paddle up to a 4 or 5 day trip, where you would typically be set down way up the River Wye.You are also able to hire kayaks by the hour or on a half day, full day or multi day basis. Camping, B&B, hotel and youth hostel accommodation can be arranged for you and Mark and his team can advise you of public stop off points for picnics and barbecues. The trips are ideal for a family holiday or for corporate team building exercises. The company's brand new fleet of 'Old Town 174' open Canadian canoes are sturdy, versatile and capable of carrying two to four persons, along with all the kit you might need for your trip. Upon arrival at base, you will be given a briefing regarding your trip, from river safety, canoeing tips, paddling techniques and what to look out for en-route to make your trip a truly remarkable experience. Your safety is of paramount importance to the River Wye Canoe Hire Company and buoyancy aids must be worn at all times whilst in the canoe. You are welcome to take your dog along on your trip, however under no circumstances are they to be leashed inside the canoe. The River Wye Canoe Hire Company tariff includes the hire of canoes, buoyancy aids, paddles and dry barrels. The only extra cost is for the transportation of your canoe up river or for collection down river from base. If you would like to take a canoe trip down the River Wye, but you are unsure of exactly which option to take, Mark and his team will be only to happy to advise you.
