Nick and Angie Stephens would like to welcome you to Rose Cottage, their picturesque, riverside bed and breakfast establishment, situated at Symonds Yat East, near Ross-on-Wye. This is a perfect place to either take a short break, or a nice long holiday.

The accommodation at Rose Cottage comprises three comfortably and tastefully furnished double rooms, all of which overlook the River Wye. There are tea and coffee making facilities in each room as well as a colour television. Two of the rooms have king sized beds and en suite shower and toilet. The third bedroom, although not en suite, does have its own private bathroom complete with shower and separate toilet. There is also an ironing board and a hair drier for guests to use if required and there is access to a mini bar.

Rose Cottage is open all year round and private parking is available for guests. Well behaved dogs are always welcome, however Rose Cottage is not equipped to cater for children under the age of twelve.

Rose Cottage has a licensed tea garden, which is open from March to October. Why not choose from the wide selection of home made lunches, snacks and afternoon teas that are available, including cream teas with delicious home made scones? Just sit and relax in the garden whilst taking in the beautiful views of the river and the local countryside. For evening meals, there are many local hostelries to choose from within walking distance or just a short drive or rope ferry ride away.

Rose Cottage is a great place to relax and take things easy. If, however you like to keep active, there are many things to do and lots of places of interest to visit close by. You can choose from canoeing, cycling, walking and rock climbing, to name but a few of the activities available, or alternatively you may like to take a more sedate trip along the river on one of the Kingfisher river cruisers. Rose Cottage is also ideal to use as a base if you wish to visit the nearby market towns of Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth and Abergavenny, or visit Goodrich Castle or Clearwell Caves in the beautiful Forest of Dean.
