Recently, somebody wrote to me making an enquiry as to whether there is a regular 'car boot sale' held in Ross-on-Wye. It just so happened that there is and, at the invitation of friends to join them on their regular visit, Tina and I made our first and only visit to the event just a week prior to the enquiry arriving.

I took the two photographs below on that day, which I guess was a pretty average 'car boot sale' day on Sunday 26 October 2003, so they should give some idea of the average size of the event. The sale is held at the Cattle Market, Overross.

Before you telephone or email to ask me if there is a boot sale this week and what time however. I am afraid that the answer is, 'I have no idea.' I took the photographs below out of general interest on a one-off visit.
