Ross-on-Wye
Town Carnival is always a well attended event and, this year Saturday
7th August was no exception. The day began at 6 am on a misty morning
as preparations for this great annual event were made. Judging of
the floats later took place on the Ashburton Estate by judges from
Mitcheldean Carnival Committee, before the procession made its colourful
way through the crowd filled town. Details of the various winners
can be found in the pages of 'Wyenot
News' for the 10th August 2004.
On
the following pages are just some of the photographs I took throughout
the day. I am sorry but I just do not have enough room to include
a photograph of everybody, so please do not feel offended if I have
missed your float out. I have not deliberately chosen which floats
to show, merely taken a few at random using the 'Ip dip, bird's
etc.' method. However, my phone number is 01989 763217 if you would
like to arrange to view them all and high quality prints are available
in various sizes. Alan.
