There is a good selection of books about Herefordshire at Ross Old Book & Print Shop as well as books written by local authors.

The books available at Ross Old Book & Print Shop vary from the very old to the virtually new and any of them would make a lovely gift for somebody. If you are interested in food history, a cookery book published in 1847 might appeal and for comic lovers, how about an 'Eagle' annual from the 1950's or the 1957 edition of 'The Dandy?'

There are volumes from Folio Society, complete sets of works, classics, romances and technical books, in fact there is something in this lovely shop that will appeal to everybody.

Ross Old Book & Print Shop also stocks a fantastic range of very interesting old prints, post cards and ephemera. You could spend some considerable time browsing through these items which, Chris and Carol say, visitors are most welcome to do.

If you are on a tight budget, but enjoy a good read, why not visit the shop's '£3 or under' section? This is a great place to choose a book or two to take home or away on holiday with you. If you are visiting Ross-on-Wye and have left your book at home, you would do well to visit the shop, for apart from a fantastic range of books, you will also find booklets on local walks, including routes for those with mobility problems or parents with buggies.

Chris and Carol have been in the book trade for many years and also operate an online service. The online stock differs from that of the shop, so if you are searching for a particular book, please visit their web site at: www.rossoldbooks.co.uk
