Carnival
Day in Ross-on-Wye took place on a beautifully sunny day and attracted
far more visitors than there have been in recent years, largely
down to the fact that it rained during the past two events. Hundreds
of people lined the streets to watch the colourful procession make
it's way through the town and down to the carnival field by the
river, where a whole range of stalls and sideshows were set up for
the crowds' enjoyment. I took one hundred and fifty photographs
of the event this year and have put thirty on this web site, spread
over three pages. To view the other pages, please use the arrows
below the photographs. Pages one and two show the parade, whilst
page three shows the prize winners.
