Ashfield Care Agency has been in operation since 1987, successfully providing back up staff to hospitals and nursing homes throughout the region. Proprietor Rosemary Hemingway and her staff are dedicated to providing a first class service to their clients, whether the need is for nursing and care, domestic or short visit home help duties.

Ashfield Care Agency are able to provide staff at short notice should a member of your staff suddenly fall ill, to cover holidays and maternity leave or simply to fill in that 'awkward' shift that nobody else wants, due to family commitments etc. The staff at Ashfield Care Agency are prepared to work days, nights and weekends with a minimum of two hours of work expected.

Ashfield Care also offer a home care service, designed to provide personal care for elderly or disabled people in their own homes. The staff can assist with getting up, putting to bed and preparing light meals, thereby enabling people to remain at home with assistance rather than go into residential care.

Ashfield Care Agency are registered with the C.S.C.I which is the inspection body for care and nursing and they are fully insured for this service.

The cost of home care varies according to location, as when care is provided for those in rural areas, many miles of travel are involved. There is a brochure for this service available which is free upon request. However, Rosemary is more than happy to visit you with no obligation.

At Ashfield Care Agency HQ there is a range of training opportunities on offer which take place in the well equipped training room. These short courses include Manual Handling, Basic Care, Handling and Administration of Medicines, Dementia Awareness and a two part First Aid and Appointed Person course. The costs of these training sessions vary, but are great value for money with a buffet lunch included and all candidates will receive a certificate upon completion. The training room at Ashfield Care Agency is also available for hire. With an over head projector and screen, ample seating and a bed for demonstration purposes, it is the perfect venue to hold small conferences and training sessions.
