SNOW SCENES FEBRUARY 2004

Snowfall in Ross-on-Wye has been an extremely infrequent event
over the past twenty years. There was a little in 1996 and a lot
in 1982
but other than that, just the odd flurry. It was quite pleasant
to awake this morning to a light covering. On seeing the snow,
I took the opportunity to hurriedly fumble for some clothes in
the dark, get dressed and go straight out to take some photographs
before it melted away.
I did manage to capture the town from all angles, taking around
seventy photographs in total but have only included four of the
shots below. I hope you enjoy the views.
Apologies
for the copyright notice through the middle of the photos but
I have seen one of these photos these printed as a Christmas Card
without permission.
