The bell ringers of St. Mary's kindly allowed me to climb the spire in 2001 and photograph the town from on high. However, the camera I used at the time, a Kodak digital, having taken thousands of photographs of Ross and been dropped more times than I can remember was well past its sell-by date and the results were rather out of focus. However, in 2002 I was passing the church again and heard the bells so I begged the Church Warden's wife's permission to climb the 14th century steps again in order to retake the photographs. Some of the results appear below.
