serving drinks at The Plough.
The
Plough is a real local pub with a large regular, friendly customer
base who welcome newcomers and visitors. The locals enjoy the
friendly banter as they enjoy some of the excellent range of beers
available. There is a large car park next to The Plough, which
is in a convenient position for both the pub and the town centre.
The
plough has mens', ladies' and mixed doubles darts teams as well
as two skittles sides and the skittle alley is available for hire
as a function room if required. For those who enjoy a game of
pool there is a pool room adjacent to the bar.
During
the summer months, there is a lovely, extensive beer garden in
which to sit and enjoy an evening drink whilst supervising the
children. At the top end of the garden a marquee is set up so
you need not rush indoors if it rains. It is also a useful facility
if you wish to hold an outdoor function, for although The Plough
does not generally serve food, birthday parties, weddings etc.
can easily be catered for by arrangement with Del and Chris.
