At 640 feet above sea level and located just a short distance from the famous Yat Rock with its scenic views over both Symonds Yat East and West and the River Wye, The Rock was an ancient Coaching Inn, which has recently been converted into luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing, get away from it all break, or an activity packed holiday, The Rock is an ideal place to stay. Proprietors Chris and Lindy Lathan have all the information you need on local canoeing and cycling centres in the area as well as many walks and places of interest to visit. If you have a pet dog, you are welcome to bring it with you and enjoy one of the many scenic forest walks that begin right from the doorstep. There is also a large garden in which to sit and relax whilst admiring the magnificent views that this location affords.

The accommodation at The Rock consists of two double and two twin rooms, all of which are en suite. These beautifully furnished rooms all have a private entrance and are equipped with a television, a hairdryer and a generous hospitality tray offering tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. There is also a hot tub available for guests to use, for a small charge.

Breakfast at The Rock is a speciality and Dinah and Richard use locally produced foods wherever possible.
