CARNIVAL WEEKEND TUG-OF-WAR 2002 |

On
the day after the main carnival celebrations, an inter-pub tug of
war contest took place on the riverside field and was won by both
the male and female teams from the Drop Inn, Rugby Club - hardly
surprising! Looking at some of the resulting rope burns, it pays
to keep one's shirt on during this type of event. The women, obviously
bearing this in mind, kept theirs on throughout.
