Ross Unintentional Festival 2002 was an event arranged at very short notice by two local people due to the usual International Festival taking a year off. It turned out to be very well managed, especially considering the short time available to organize such an event! Having attended festivals in other local towns during this and previous years, I think perhaps Ross-on-Wye should learn from this. Not only does this type of festival bring business to the town itself, it provides an opportunity for some of our excellent local artists to be seen and heard.

Thank you and well done Caz Holbrook, Rachel Bengough for turning their dream to reality and to John Edwards, Russell Downs and Franki Griffiths for stage managing, humping equipment and sound engineering during the weekend finalé.

My sincere apologies to Bob's Full House as I stupidly forgot to bring my camera to your brilliant performance at the Rosswyn and to the other in town events I was unable to attend due to work committments.
