During
the daylight hours this live webcam should show the current weather
as well as the river levels. This should be especially useful
during times of flooding and during high water in general. The
camera is located at the top of the White Lion Inn at Wilton and
shows part of the inn's beer garden, located on the banks of the
River Wye. To the left of the screen is Wilton Bridge with a view
of the spire of St. Mary's, Ross in the background.
You
should be able to spot local wildlife on the rocks, such as gulls
and the occasional heron or even the odd otter, if you are really
lucky. As
well as passing canoeists during the summer months, you may also
see me filming wildlife, occasionally as this is one of
my favourite filming locations.
