The Acorns is a self catering cottage which is situated at Walford, just four miles outside of the market town of Ross-on-Wye and in close proximity to both Symonds Yat and Goodrich. It is an ideal location to relax in if you just want to get away from it all and is good to use as a base if sightseeing in the Wye Valley or taking an activity holiday in the area. The accommodation at The Acorns is on one floor so that all rooms are easily accessible, the front step even having a removable ramp for wheelchair access. The proprietor Ruth, has made every effort to ensure your comfort and a quick phone call before arrival can also mean your basic shopping requirements can be in the kitchen waiting for you. There is one double bedroom and one twin room, both of which are very comfortably furnished and are ideal for a family of four or for two couples .

The kitchen / diner is equipped with all you need to make The Acorns a home from home. However, there is a variety of pubs and restaurants in the locality if you don't feel like cooking during your stay.

The sitting room at The Acorns is very nicely furnished and equipped with a television which includes Freeview, DVD and Video players and a radio / cassette / CD player. Wi Fi access is also available at no extra cost. There is a patio area which is accessible from the sitting room, which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the pretty gardens on a summers evening.

Further information and tariffs are as follows:

All weekly bookings commence on a Saturday.
Short breaks are available in low season. These operate as a four day break from Monday to Friday or as a three day break from Friday to Monday. Minimum stay three nights.
Unless otherwise agreed, arrival time is 3 pm and departure time is 10 am.
A deposit of 30% of the total price is required at the time of booking and the balance is payable eight weeks prior to arrival date.
Cancellation insurance is advisable as the full cost may be payable in the event of a late cancellation.
Payment is to be made in pounds sterling and may be paid via cheque, banker's draft or direct bank transfer.
A welcome pack is provided.
One well behaved dog is welcome to stay at no extra cost.
