Wye Street begins at the junction of Edde Cross Street, High Street and Wilton Road following the river for a short distance, where the Rope Walk can be accessed, before rejoining Wilton Road. The lake in the left photograph, middle row is actually usually a field but was flooded due to heavy rain causing the River Wye to rise during the early part of 2002.
